Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America who gained attention as the character Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom 'Mom'. Calvano originates from California and first became interested in gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actress. Her first screen appearance was the 2010 episode of the CBS show 'NCIS. The following year her debut big screen appearance came in the biographical thriller film J Edgar. Over the years she's established herself as one the most promising actors in today's business. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, Calvano was selected again to receive an award called a Young Artist Award. This time, for her appearance on Disney XD's 'Kickin It'. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of 'Mom' in its initial three seasons, and also made several appearances in Season 4. Calvano's role being a rising star in Mom earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actors.
